SPOTLIGHT ARTIST: JANELLE MONAE

I'll admit when I saw her do the tribute for Prince I wasn't moved at all. I've heard of her but I typically don't listen to mainstream music or the radio to be honest ( I like independent music). I can say I underestimated her vocal ability based on that performance and also her fashion sense is a bit off the wall but it is oddness that keeps people looking. Here is a few pics of her before and after with the floppy mohawk thingy that bounces around when she performs. That heap of hair on top of her head....I would say it is runway ready!
